Computer repair shops SUCK!

Good GREIF WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH REPAIR SHOPS! CANT THEY FIX A PROBLEM WITHOUT DESTROYING YOUR MOTHERBOARD!?
NO!
I got my computer back and they had to reformat my harddrive which means all of my files/picture/stories/everything GONE!
This severely pisses me off. Cant they temporary put someones files and programs onto a hard drive in case the repair goes wrong? Come on it is not rocket science. Oh well back to go try and fix my computer. OH and now I have to buy new software. THANKS A LOT REPAIR PEOPLE!

I just hope I sent myself all of the files I really wanted to keep.

some birthday week this is turning out to be, whatever the universe hates me, or my programmer does {martix possibility}

O_O stories and wip's gone? That seriously sucks. :iconsympathyplz: My advice: invest in a flash drive. Back everything up before repairs, if possible. Perhaps back everything up on weekends just in case your comp crashes unexpectedly.

But yeah, repair people aren't worth crap sometimes. I've taken my laptop to IT twice for the same problems (nothing compared to your's though) and they didn't fix a damn thing.
